Springboard Clinic is pleased to offer supervised practice opportunities for individuals who are registering with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). Our team includes experienced Psychologists and Psychological Associates who can provide training and supervision for assessing and treating a range of areas of competency and clinical populations. Our clientele not only struggle with symptoms of attention or hyperactivity/impulsivity, but other clinical presentations as well. As a result, your training with our team will set you up to work at a pace that is common in private practice settings and in an environment that is more commonly found in hospital settings.
Join us and take part in this opportunity to develop clinical skills in assessment and intervention as you work toward independent practice. Springboard Clinic’s organizational structure is different from other private practice settings in that we are offering times for connection and collaboration on our clinician’s calendars. What will your year entail?
We offer full-time or part-time supervision to help clinicians become independent practitioners as outlined by CPO guidelines. The role will include assessment and intervention, weekly supervision meetings, and opportunities to take part in professional development activities within our multidisciplinary team.
Assessment Opportunities
Participate in our Benchmark ADHD/Mental Health Assessments, Psychological Assessments and Psychoeducational Assessments.
You will develop and hone your skills in diagnostic interviewing, administering and interpreting standardized assessment measures, case conceptualization and diagnostic formulations, treatment intervention planning, report writing, communicating a diagnosis and providing feedback to clients.
Intervention Opportunities
Work with clients of all ages (children aged 6 to older adults aged 65+) from a wide range of clinical populations. This includes offering coaching for ADHD and psychotherapy for clients struggling with mood or anxiety disorders, obsessions and/or compulsions, substance abuse issues, those experiencing emotional distress social disconnect/social skills impairment, or more general interpersonal difficulties. Opportunities to work with parents, couples and partners are also available.
Supervision
Our supervisors will guide you in learning how to take an integrative approach, adopting components as needed from a range of evidence based interventions.
Supervision includes support and guidance with assessment and intervention opportunities, case discussions, as well as support for required examinations and other learnings (e.g. ethical and jurisprudence issues) essential for independent practice as outlined by the CPO.
Additional/Optional Opportunities

Psychometrist
Contract & Hybrid | Toronto
Working under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist/Psychological Associate, the Psychometrist is responsible for conducting interviews, administering and scoring psychological tests, as well as writing reports. This is an assessment-focused role with an emphasis on ADHD/Mental Health Assessments and Psychoeducational Assessments for all ages. In this role, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and with community agencies/professionals. The role will require working on-site from the Clinic’s offices located at 1055 Yonge St., Suite 306, Toronto, ON.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a combination of ADHD/mental health and potentially psychoeducational assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults; duties include interviewing/information gathering, administering tests, scoring.
- Compile, write, edit and review reports alongside other professionals involved in the assessment.
- Follow-up and track pending questionnaires and report cards with the administrative team and client during the interview.
- Collaborate with psychologists and psychiatrist/medical professionals regarding client appointments.
- Conduct file review and letter writing.
- Participate in supervisory meetings as needed.
- Adhere to PHIPA/HIPPA guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology with coursework in psychometrics/psychological assessment or equivalent education in psychology, psychotherapy, social work, counselling, or a related mental health field is required.
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of related clinical experience
- Proven clinical experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments, administering, scoring and interpreting standard tests in a clinical setting, with an emphasis on experience conducting assessments for children.
- Clinical experience working with clients of all ages in mental health services/coaching capacity is an asset.
- Adheres to PHIPA guidelines and maintains client confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills; experience writing reports.
- Conscientious, detailed-oriented, and organized.
- Knowledge of current testing instruments.
- Passion for and experience working with multidisciplinary health teams is an asset.
- Experience working with ADHD clients is preferred.

Psychotherapist
Hybrid & Part-time | Toronto
Springboard Clinic is expanding and looking for multiple skilled clinicians to join our team! We are interested in clinicians whose part-time availability includes Saturdays.
As a Springboard Psychotherapist, you will work under the supervision of a clinical psychologist and within a multidisciplinary team. Your work responsibilities will include collaborating with clients in designing treatment plans that target ADHD symptom management strategies that work for them, increasing awareness of their strengths and values as well as supporting their individual mental health needs. Our clinicians utilize a variety of treatment intervention modalities to empower clients of all ages, while keeping in mind the day-to-day presence of ADHD symptoms. You possess a positive mindset and are excited to join a team that is expanding.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults and families based on client case conceptualization and needs. Most clients have confirmed diagnoses of ADHD and many have co-morbid presentations including mood, anxiety, trauma, attachment needs, etc.
- Develop treatment goals and plans in collaboration with clients, as discussed with the clinical supervisor.
- Carry a caseload of 4 client hours per day, including scheduling future sessions with clients once clients have been placed on the calendar.
- Work under the supervision of a psychologist and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in clinical consultation with peers and group supervision.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters degree in psychology, psychotherapy, social work, occupational therapy, counselling, or related mental health field is required.
- A successful candidate is a member of a regulatory body identified as able to deliver psychotherapy services in Ontario (e.g. College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or College of Nurses of Ontario).
- 3-5 years of clinical/treatment experience working with individuals with a wide range of clinical presentations. Experience working with ADHD clients is an asset.
