Our Clinical Leadership team guides and supports our therapists, psychologists, and medical professionals, ensuring the highest standard of care and collaboration across all services.

PhD, C.Psych

Dr. Bailey is a Clinical Psychologist who obtained her Ph.D. from Concordia University in Montreal conducting research on neuroplasticity and the effects of early experience on the brain and behaviour. She has spent the last 13 years providing assessments and treatment to the ADHD community working with clients of all ages individually and in groups, offering parent and couples support, as well as collaborating with teachers. She is currently the Executive Director of Clinical Services at Springboard Clinic. In her role, she oversees all facets of assessment, coaching and therapy services offered by the Clinic. She is a co-author on Springboard Clinic’s adult ADHD workbook called “May we have your attention please?” and is passionate about designing mental health services that are both ADHD-friendly and effective: “I believe in human resiliency. We’re all shaped by genetics, but also by our experiences. I encourage people to acknowledge, analyze, learn from or heal from those experiences to live a more authentic, rewarding and intentional life.”

Dr. Richards-Bentley is the lead physician at Springboard Clinic and is recognized as an expert in ADHD as part of the ADHD Specialty E-Consultation group within OTN Hub. He has published on the topic of ADHD in physician patients and continues to supervise resident physician education with the University of Toronto Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Richards-Bentley has completed graduate work in Education and has taught Cognitive Behaviour Therapy training in Ethiopia as part of the Toronto Addis Ababa Psychiatry Project. He has delivered lectures on ADHD presentations in Emergency Psychiatry, transitional youth, gifted/high-functioning patients, and those with other neurodivergence. He is interested in global health and the treatment of ADHD and its associated difficulties, such as anxiety and mood disorders: “We help clients build a narrative of understanding themselves – their struggles, their strengths and their sources of resilience to help them become closer to who they want to be. In my work, I help to unpack sometimes conflicting identities to help them move forward.”

Dr. Murphy is a registered psychologist, practicing in clinical psychology, neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology, working with adults and seniors. She earned her doctorate from Western University and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Rotman Research Institute. Currently, she is the Director of Service Development and Research at Springboard Clinic, an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, and a member of the CADDRA Research Committee. Dr. Murphy has extensive clinical and research experience in cognitive assessment and intervention. She is passionate about translating evidence-based research into clinical practice to benefit her clients: “Effective care requires understanding a person’s needs in the context of their lived experience. Whether providing assessment or treatment, my goal is to help clients feel that the expertise they have in their own lives is recognized, respected and considered at every step in the process.”

Working as a psychologist in educational and health settings since 1990, Dr. Kamrad brings vast clinical experience to his role at Springboard where he conducts psychoeducational and ADHD/mental health assessments with children, adolescents and adults. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Adler School for Professional Psychology and is involved in many areas of mental health, previously serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Mental Health Association – Peel Branch and as an advisor to the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario, Learning Disabilities at School team. He has a longstanding interest in neurodevelopmental disorders including learning disabilities (LD), attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), intellectual disabilities (ID) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD): “While a diagnostic label may provide clarity, it is important not to let it define you. By leveraging individual strengths to cope with relative challenges, we can begin to create a more accepting world.”

Dr. Paula Conforti

Dr. Conforti obtained her Doctorate from the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, where she researched suicidality, mental health literacy and early intervention/prevention. Her training has occurred exclusively at the University of Toronto. She is passionate about developing interventions that assist youth in mastering therapeutic principles through literary means to improve wellness and learning. Dr. Conforti has spent the last 22 years conducting assessments and providing intervention services to children and youth with various concerns. She is Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and cross Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Dr. Conforti is the Director of Clinical Services at Springboard in Oakville and practices exclusively at this Clinic. In her role, she oversees, through supervision and/or consultation, all services offered to children and youth by the Clinic: “ I strive to meet clients where they are at and work in partnership with them to identify strengths and individualized goals using a client centred, collaborative and multidisciplinary approach. I pride myself on effectively disseminating school-based recommendations and integrating science with practice while striving to bridge clinical and research collaboration for children and youth who present on the neurodevelopmental continuum.”

A member of the College of Psychologists with over 30 years’ experience of clinical practice in neuropsychology and school psychology, Dr. Currie conducts assessments and provides intervention services to children, adolescents and adults experiencing challenges relating to mental health, attentional, emotional, behavioural or learning concerns. She has particular interest in the diagnoses and treatment of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities (LD) and associated difficulties. At Springboard, Dr. Currie shares her insights within a multidisciplinary team and develops strengths-based plans to help clients move forward in their journey: “I’m passionate about using my expertise in evaluation and analysis/synthesis to develop meaningful interventions and recommendations that help people achieve their goals and lead their best lives.”

Dr. Kosta provides medical treatment and care to assessment clients over the age of 17. In addition to her clinical experience in academic settings and student health at the University of Toronto and Toronto Metropolitan University, Dr. Kosta has extensive experience supporting those affected by chronic pain and addictions. She has a strong interest in trauma work, in the treatment of mood and anxiety and in the assessment and treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD): “By continuously enhancing my knowledge and understanding, my goal is to better support and guide others. I strive to create meaningful experiences that empower individuals, leveraging my deep understanding of human behaviour to make a lasting and positive impact on the lives of those affected by ADHD.”

Dr. Baer conducts assessments and provides intervention services to adults, helping them address challenges related to mental health such as ADHD, anxiety and depression. He has worked primarily in psychosis and clinical high-risk state for psychosis throughout his career – previously in the Complex Care and Recovery Program for psychosis at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and as a postdoctoral fellow at the Prevention and Early Intervention for Psychosis Program (PEPP) at McGill University. Dr. Baer is also Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University where he is involved in clinical research in psychosis. He is passionate about developing interventions that help people realize their strengths: “An ADHD diagnosis and its corresponding treatment can have a transformative impact on an individual’s self-perception from fostering greater self-acceptance to empowering them to progress more positively in their lives.”

A registered clinical psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, Dr. Hazzard provides ADHD diagnostic assessments to adolescents and adults at Springboard. She possesses extensive experience in delivering psychodiagnostic assessment services, demonstrating expertise in exploring related diagnosis, treatment planning and related accommodations. Dr. Hazzard’s priority is to develop a trusting rapport absent of judgement. She strives to meet each person with empathy, warmth, and humour to help them feel at ease: “There is power in knowledge. By providing a compassionate and safe space for people to delve into who they are, I hope to empower them to attain a deeper understanding of themselves.”

Dr. Spilka is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and a scientist in the digital health technology sector. He completed his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Calgary, followed by a Clinical Fellowship in Neuropsychology through the University Health Network in Toronto. He has clinical expertise conducting neuropsychological assessments with adult clients with a range of psychological and medical concerns. At Springboard, he strives to help assessment clients gain insight into their concerns and harness this knowledge to bring about positive change: “My aim with the assessment process is to help clients better understand their strengths and challenges and equip them with recommendations and strategies that build on their strengths and help them address their concerns.”

Dr. Alessia Lista conducts psychological assessments with individuals of all ages. She completed her doctoral training at Adler University and is currently pursuing registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She is passionate about supporting those with ADHD and has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages with emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. Dr. Lista’s approach with her clients is open, warm, and non-judgmental. She uses a number of evidence-based interventions that are flexible and tailored to her clients’ individual needs: “My goal is to help my clients better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and strive towards change.”

Dr. Jovanovski is a registered clinical psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, practicing in clinical neuropsychology and working with adults and seniors. She earned her Ph.D. degree from the University of Toronto and completed clinical training in neuropsychology and cognitive rehabilitation at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and Baycrest. She has extensive experience conducting neuropsychological assessments with adults and senior clients with a wide range of medical and psychological concerns and has been active in research, having published scientific papers in the fields of neuropsychology and psychopharmacology. She has particular interest in the assessment and intervention of memory, complex attention, and executive function deficits and is passionate about assisting clients with achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.

In addition to conducting psychological and ADHD assessments with children, adolescents and adults, Winnie also provides coaching services to all ages. Swathi Swaminathan

Through her work, Swathi is driven to understand and help people better manage cognitive development and change. Her research examines development and learning across the lifespan, with a special interest in the cognitive and emotional causes and consequences of arts engagement. Swathi’s research also informs her clinical approach where she works with clients of all ages, helping them address mental health, learning and behavioural challenges: “All individuals regardless of their age, personal background and cognitive status can live meaningful and flourishing lives. Both my clinical and research work aims to facilitate this process.”

Lois Kuriakose

With a postgraduate degree in developmental cognitive neuroscience, Lois has deep experience working with children and young adults diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia and autism. Passionate about helping people reach their goals, Lois takes a strengths-based approach in encouraging clients to recognize their capacity for growth: “Every individual and brain is unique. By accepting ADHD-neurodiversity as a superpower rather than a diagnosis, clients can embrace their strengths to overcome challenges and realize their full potential.” In addition to English, Lois speaks Hindi and Urdu.

She specializes in ADHD, autism and psychoeducational evaluations. Justine adopts a compassionate and collaborative approach to support wellbeing: “I firmly believe that each person possesses innate resilience and the capacity for positive change. A lifelong learner with degrees and certifications from Yorkville University, Regent University, Cambrian College and Hincks-Dellcrest Centre, she is well versed in counselling psychology, educational therapy, learning strategies, accommodations, assistive technologies, and crisis prevention and intervention. After more than a decade of working with students affected by ADHD, learning disabilities and mental health issues, she loves seeing her clients succeed in all aspects of their lives: “An ADHD diagnosis isn’t an end, but a beginning. Douglas Jew

M.S., Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Psychotherapist

Douglas supports clients of all ages, from school aged children to adults, living with ADHD, addiction and other mental health challenges. He also provides coaching services to couples and families. An advocate for client-centred care with over a decade of clinical experience, Douglas embodies a systems approach in his practice, viewing change and growth in the context of relationships to oneself and others. He blends many types of therapy, including behavioural, narrative, strengths-based and solution-focused approaches to foster curious introspection and cultivate unique solutions to fit each situation: “As a coach, I act as a catalyst in an individual’s journey. Merav Gilboa (she/her)

MA, OATR, Registered Psychotherapist and Art Therapist

Merav has been working as a psychotherapist through more than two decades in medical and educational settings — most recently at Baycrest Health Sciences. She has evolved a people-centred approach to support clients of all ages with mental health challenges, neurological and cognitive disorders, and developmental delays. She has extensive experience with children, youth and young adults as well as those navigating aging and end-of-life journeys. Merav often uses visual art as a bridge to support expression and communication, both with individual clients and in group settings: “Art can help us look more deeply at the different layers that make up a person’s identity. I work with clients to explore their personal narratives, delving into their stories and understanding their worldviews to better support them in finding ways to move forward.”

Liz brings many years of clinical and life experience to her role at Springboard. She previously worked in children’s mental health where she provided support and counselling to children and families, as well as adults experiencing significant social, emotional, and academic challenges. Liz’s engaging, empathic, and strengths-based approach enables her to empower and connect with her clients: “My role as a therapist is to help people better understand themselves so that they can grow. I believe that people can use their strengths, values and goals in order to create positive and constructive outlets.”

Kim Abramowitz

DTATI, Registered Psychotherapist and Art Therapist

Kim takes a holistic, client-centered approach as she provides psychotherapy, art therapy and coaching to children, adolescents and adults with attention challenges. Dr. Bailey is a Clinical Psychologist who obtained her Ph.D. from Concordia University in Montreal conducting research on neuroplasticity and the effects of early experience on the brain and behaviour. She is currently the Executive Director of Clinical Services at Springboard Clinic. In her role, she oversees all facets of assessment, coaching and therapy services offered by the Clinic. She is a co-author on Springboard Clinic’s adult ADHD workbook called “May we have your attention please?” and is passionate about designing mental health services that are both ADHD-friendly and effective: “I believe in human resiliency. We’re all shaped by genetics, but also by our experiences.
