Outcome
A full evaluation of your memory/attention issues – plus a personally tailored list of practical strategies to better manage your everyday memory and attention challenges.
Springboard’s assessments are dynamic and personally tailored to meet your needs.
We talk about the answers you’re looking for, and then find the right path to treatment. Depending on your concerns, we can add dimensions of assessment to better address your needs. Whether you’ve done an assessment elsewhere or are looking to tailor your Springboard assessment experience further, we can work together to find a solution to fit your circumstances.
By taking this adaptive approach, we’re able to offer a targeted addition: the Springboard Memory Assessment.
Designed for those concerned with their memory ability and level of attention. You’ll meet with a Springboard neuropsychologist, who will conduct a thorough interview, then discuss with you how best to move forward.
We explore your experience with memory and attention issues, asking for examples from your everyday life, past and present.
By understanding a bit better how your brain works and how memory and attention impacts you on a daily basis, we can be more targeted in planning the right course of action together.
In the course of your Springboard Memory Assessment, our team:
- uses evidence-based assessment tools to evaluate your cognitive profile with the aim of identifying any memory/attention concerns impacting your daily life;
- reviews your completed questionnaires;
- integrates your results with your lived experience to create a personalized treatment plan.
After this first session, you get a break while our team compares findings, shares perspectives and collaborates on your assessment report.
Meanwhile, as you reflect on the experience, you may have some unanswered questions or feelings you’d like to discuss further. We encourage you to take note of any thoughts you’d like to explore further in the feedback session.
Your feedback session, usually scheduled within 30 days, is with the neuropsychologist on your team.
It’s an opportunity to review your personal assessment report, ask detailed questions and discuss recommended treatment options. Following this in-depth conversation, if you’re interested in working with our coaching and therapy team (and our medical doctors if that’s recommended), we can continue mapping out your path forward and book your initial treatment sessions.
