Our Approach

The Springboard Approach

You can’t switch off ADHD. It’s part of who you are — but only one part. We’re interested in exploring the rest. Instead of focusing on what you’re not able to do, we help you discover your hidden strengths and steadily develop your untapped potential. It’s a unique approach we call Discover your SELF.

Our Team & Culture

A skilled team and a welcoming culture

When we opened our doors in 2009, Springboard Clinic consisted of three women: Dr Ainslie Gray; her daughter and co-founder, Laura MacNiven; and a business manager. Today we’re a diverse, multitalented and growing team of coach-therapists, psychologists, physicians and administrators — and the vision and passion that shaped Springboard remain as strong as ever.

Springboard’s Values

Everyone on the Springboard team is guided by a set of values that we call the Four C’s.

Springboard Clinic | Springboard's Values
Springboard Clinic | Springboard's Values
Springboard Clinic | Springboard's Values

What do we mean by these values? Let’s explore each in detail:

Springboard is committed to a holistic and inclusive approach that encompasses all dimensions of ADHD. We don’t just assess clients and send them on their way. Our expertise spans psychological assessment, coaching and therapy, and medical guidance. We help clients of all ages, from young children to adults. And we support other key people in a client’s life, including parents, family members, and spouses or partners.

We believe that meaningful progress in treating ADHD can only come through sharing knowledge, advice and innovative thinking. We work together within our multidisciplinary team, blending medical, psychological and coaching expertise. We engage with valued partners, from health professionals to educators. More fundamentally, we invite clients and their supporters to collaborate with us in targeting and pursuing desired outcomes.

Recognizing that every human has a unique brain and way of thinking, we tailor our treatment programs to fit each client’s particular needs and expectations. We meet people where they are in their ADHD journey, building a personalized suite of services, providing the most relevant tools and guidance – and evolving each client’s customized program as their treatment progresses or their life circumstances change.

We care deeply about our clients and devote all our talent and energy to helping them find their hidden strengths and realize their potential. We know everyone follows a unique ADHD path and moves at their own pace. Our role is to keep clients motivated, provide a gentle nudge if it’s needed, hit pause when a break is in order – and never stop showing how much we believe in them, so they never stop believing in themselves.
