Assessments and Follow up Care

We evaluate for ADHD and co-morbid conditions such as ASD, anxiety, depression, mood, learning disabilities, ensuring a precise understanding of your patient’s cognitive profile.

ADHD Coaching and Therapy

We offer one-on-one coaching sessions for kids, teens and adults with an ADHD diagnosis focusing on personalized strategies to manage symptoms and improve daily functioning.

Family and Parent Support

We provide parent coaching and family counselling to help parents and families navigate ADHD and effectively support children with ADHD and co-morbid conditions.

Our Multidisciplinary Team of Experts

Dr. Anne Bailey

PhD, C.Psych

Dr. Bailey is a Clinical Psychologist who obtained her Ph.D. from Concordia University in Montreal conducting research on neuroplasticity and the effects of early experience on the brain and behaviour. She has spent the last 13 years providing assessments and treatment to the ADHD community working with clients of all ages individually and in groups, offering parent and couples support, as well as collaborating with teachers. She is currently the Executive Director of Clinical Services at Springboard Clinic. In her role, she oversees all facets of assessment, coaching and therapy services offered by the Clinic. She is a co-author on Springboard Clinic’s adult ADHD workbook called “May we have your attention please?” and is passionate about designing mental health services that are both ADHD-friendly and effective: “I believe in human resiliency. We’re all shaped by genetics, but also by our experiences. I encourage people to acknowledge, analyze, learn from or heal from those experiences to live a more authentic, rewarding and intentional life.”

Dr. Chris Richards-Bentley

MEd, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Richards-Bentley is the lead physician at Springboard Clinic and is recognized as an expert in ADHD as part of the ADHD Specialty E-Consultation group within OTN Hub. He has published on the topic of ADHD in physician patients and continues to supervise resident physician education with the University of Toronto Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Richards-Bentley has completed graduate work in Education and has taught Cognitive Behaviour Therapy training in Ethiopia as part of the Toronto Addis Ababa Psychiatry Project. He has delivered lectures on ADHD presentations in Emergency Psychiatry, transitional youth, gifted/high-functioning patients, and those with other neurodivergence. He is interested in global health and the treatment of ADHD and its associated difficulties, such as anxiety and mood disorders: “We help clients build a narrative of understanding themselves – their struggles, their strengths and their sources of resilience to help them become closer to who they want to be. In my work, I help to unpack sometimes conflicting identities to help them move forward.”

Dr. Kelly Murphy

PhD, C.Psych

Dr. Murphy is a registered psychologist, practicing in clinical psychology, neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology, working with adults and seniors. She earned her doctorate from Western University and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Rotman Research Institute. Currently, she is the Director of Service Development and Research at Springboard Clinic, an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, and a member of the CADDRA Research Committee. Dr. Murphy has extensive clinical and research experience in cognitive assessment and intervention. She is passionate about translating evidence-based research into clinical practice to benefit her clients: “Effective care requires understanding a person’s needs in the context of their lived experience. Whether providing assessment or treatment, my goal is to help clients feel that the expertise they have in their own lives is recognized, respected and considered at every step in the process.”

Dr. Paula Conforti

DCS., C. Psych. Assoc., RP, PhD.

Dr. Conforti obtained her Doctorate from the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, where she researched suicidality, mental health literacy and early intervention/prevention. Her training has occurred exclusively at the University of Toronto. She is passionate about developing interventions that assist youth in mastering therapeutic principles through literary means to improve wellness and learning. Dr. Conforti has spent the last 22 years conducting assessments and providing intervention services to children and youth with various concerns. She is Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario as a Psychological Associate and cross Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Dr. Conforti is the Director of Clinical Services at Springboard in Oakville and practices exclusively at this Clinic. In her role, she oversees, through supervision and/or consultation, all services offered to children and youth by the Clinic: “ I strive to meet clients where they are at and work in partnership with them to identify strengths and individualized goals using a client centred, collaborative and multidisciplinary approach. I pride myself on effectively disseminating school-based recommendations and integrating science with practice while striving to bridge clinical and research collaboration for children and youth who present on the neurodevelopmental continuum.”

Dr. Lynn Hierlihy

BSc (Hons), MD, PhD, FRCPC

Dr. Hierlihy provides medical treatment and care to Springboard assessment clients under the age of 25, applying the insights she gained in completing her pediatric residency at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She is passionate about helping children and adolescents achieve their full potential and believes firmly in our multidisciplinary approach to ADHD management: “All members of our team work together to understand how ADHD impacts client lives and wellbeing, as well as other mental health concerns that may be involved in its diagnosis. We tailor care to the individual, providing them with tools to confidently move forward.”

Dr. Jack Kamrad

PhD, C.Psych

Working as a psychologist in educational and health settings since 1990, Dr. Kamrad brings vast clinical experience to his role at Springboard where he conducts psychoeducational and ADHD/mental health assessments with children, adolescents and adults. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Adler School for Professional Psychology and is involved in many areas of mental health, previously serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Mental Health Association – Peel Branch and as an advisor to the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario, Learning Disabilities at School team. He has a longstanding interest in neurodevelopmental disorders including learning disabilities (LD), attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), intellectual disabilities (ID) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD): “While a diagnostic label may provide clarity, it is important not to let it define you. By leveraging individual strengths to cope with relative challenges, we can begin to create a more accepting world.”

Frequently Asked Questions from Referring Physicians

No, patients can access our services whether they have been assessed here or by another provider. If they have an ADHD assessment from another clinic or healthcare professional, we’ll review the report and determine the best way to support their needs.

We provide comprehensive ADHD care, including:

Springboard Clinic is a private clinic, which means our services are generally out-of-pocket. However, OHIP does cover a small portion of the psychiatric component of our multidisciplinary ADHD assessments. Other parts of the assessment, including the psychological and psychometric evaluations, as well as our therapy and coaching services, are not covered by OHIP.

Many patients are able to get reimbursement through their private insurance plans under the Psychological Services benefit. We always recommend that patients check in with their insurance provider to understand their coverage before starting services, so they know exactly what’s covered and what options are available for reimbursement. The costs of our assessments and coaching/therapy services are listed on our Pricing & Insurance page. Please contact us for specific pricing details.

Yes! We offer coaching and therapy services to patients who have been diagnosed by another provider. Our team will review the assessment report to ensure we’re a good fit and can provide the appropriate support.

Springboard offers Executive Function coaching to patients without a formal ADHD diagnosis. However, a formal ADHD diagnosis is required to access our psychotherapy services .

Referring a patient is easy! You can submit a e-referral form through Ocean, or download our assessment or coaching referral form and fax it to our clinic at 416.901.3079. If you’re unsure which services your patient may need, our team is happy to discuss their options and guide you.

We provide ADHD assessments and treatment for individuals aged 6 and up, including children, teens, and adults. We also support parents, couples and families navigate challenges relating to ADHD.

We prioritize timely access to care. For assessments, wait times range from 1 to 6 weeks depending on the type of assessment required. For coaching services, initial appointments are booked in 2-5 business days. For more specific timing, please contact the clinic directly for more information.
