Madeleine Westbrook is a practicum student and a registered social worker. She is currently completing her Master of Science in Psychotherapy at McMaster University, where she also earned an Honours Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Sociology. She brings a breadth of frontline and volunteer experience to her practice. Her previous placements include supporting youth and adults in emergency and transitional housing, as well as assisting patients with rehabilitation and recovery in the forensic mental health system. Madeleine has also supported survivors of sexual violence as a helpline volunteer and helped children develop leadership skills as a Kid Coach with Future Possibilities for Kids. At Springboard, Madeleine approaches her work with empathy, curiosity, and deep respect for each client’s lived experience. She is dedicated to person-centered care and strives to foster collaborative, inclusive alliances where individuals feel safe to explore their goals and work toward meaningful change.
