Through this role, Heather acts as a first point of contact for members of the community seeking care at Springboard. Through their Bachelor of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), Heather has been able to learn about anti-oppressive practices and how to practically apply it into interactions with clients. Established in her previous experience working admin in a counselling setting, Heather is always excited to help others in navigating their journey into care–with an awareness of how daunting it can be! They always strive to greet each client with kindness and empathy, and bring a person-centered approach to each new interaction. She’s always ready to problem solve and answer questions–big or small.
