MEd

Laura MacNiven is the co-founder of Springboard Clinic and has spent more than 20 years working alongside neurodiverse children, teens, adults, and families. Since its founding in 2009, Springboard has become a leading Canadian provider, supporting thousands of clients through comprehensive assessment, therapy, coaching, and school consultation services.

Laura brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She is known for translating complex concepts related to attention, emotion regulation, and executive functioning into creative, hopeful, and compassionate guidance for parents and caregivers.

She is the co-author of May We Have Your Attention Please? and provides international coaching for parents, educators, executives, creatives, and entrepreneurs. Her work is grounded in the belief that personalized, strengths-based support should be accessible and practical. Through workshops, professional training, guest speaking, and group facilitation, she advances conversations around neurodiversity, leadership development, and human potential.

“By taking the time and space to slow down and connect without judgment, we make the world more accepting of neurodiverse thinkers. In doing so, we open the door to more creative solutions. By reducing stigma and building compassion, we rise together as a community.”
