Maryam holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Psychology from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology from Middlesex University. She brings a wide range of clinical and research experience from her work in the UK, where she supported children, adolescents, and adults as an Assistant Psychologist in the NHS and as a Researcher at University College London (UCL). She has also worked in Canada at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, further building her expertise in cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessment. At Springboard, Maryam provides comprehensive psychoeducational assessments under the supervision of a registered clinical psychologist. She is skilled in administering and interpreting measures related to ADHD, autism, learning difficulties, mood, and trauma. Maryam is known for her warm, approachable style, helping clients and families feel at ease throughout the assessment process. She has a particular interest in culturally responsive assessment and is passionate about supporting individuals from diverse and underserved communities. Guided by evidence-based practice, Maryam is committed to fostering understanding, diagnostic clarity, and meaningful next steps for each client she works with.
