Hanada Kardassopoulos, M.Ed., MACP, Registered Psychotherapist (Q) is an ADHD Coach/Therapist at Springboard Clinic.

Hanada’s passion is to support individuals to live their best life, guide them on a journey of self-awareness and growth, and empower them to overcome their challenges. Hanada uses her previous experiences and skills as an educator and school principal in the Ontario education system working with children and adolescents with a variety of learning differences (ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities). Hanada has also provided therapeutic services to young adults in a college counselling center and works with adults who experience complex mental health issues in private practice.

Important to Hanada’s therapy is developing a connection with her clients by creating a comfortable atmosphere where they feel safe to have honest conversations. Hanada is a Black Indigenous People of Colour (BIPOC) ally and works with racialized communities. She has devoted 22 years to challenge systemic racism in education and mental health services and has supported children and families experiencing racial injustice.

As a therapist, Hanada’s approach to therapy will differ depending on the needs of the client. She uses evidence-based modalities in an integrative counselling approach that include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT); Trauma-Informed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems, Positive Psychology, and Solution Focused Therapy.
