LEARNING, COLLABORATION, AND SUPPORT IN A GROUP SETTING

Our group coaching workshops focus on a combination of psycho-educational learning, group collaboration, and on helping children, parents and individuals to support each other in their journey with ADHD. These multi-week sessions offer a comfortable and caring environment that focuses on collaboration to develop tactics to move forward, to brainstorm innovative new solutions, and most importantly, to find new perspectives for facing the day-to-day challenges we all encounter. Through group work we can energize each other as we work to build sustainable, successful skills.

Parent Group

Parents gain a deeper understand of their child’s diagnosis and learn strategies for improving communication and reducing stress in the home, while evaluating their parenting philosophy within a community of parents.

Adult Group

Participants support and learn from one another as they work to understand the role of ADHD in their life and to develop tactics to optimize strengths and manage difficulties. Our Coaches facilitate the achievement of these small steps, while always connecting the process to long-term goals.

Alumni Group

Connect, share and explore strategies and goals in a group setting. These group workshops offer a great way to brush up on your ADHD awareness and stay on track.

2016 Parent Groups

Springboard Parent Groups are designed for parents of children of all ages who struggle with attention difficulties. It combines psycho-educational learning techniques with real-life case studies. By understanding the root of your child’s difficulty, parents will be empowered to take more control of challenging situations at home, while collaborating with other parents to design personalized strategies and offer one another support.

This year, we will be running three groups:

    • WINTER - January 28th, February 4th, 18th, 25th
    • SPRING - May 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
    • FALL - October 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
    • Each group runs over the course of four Thursday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm and will be facilitated by Springboard team members, Tami Swartz and Erin Sulla
    • Cost of $380 per parent or $540 per couple
2016 Adult Groups

Springboard Adult Groups are designed for adults who struggle with attention difficulties. It combines psycho-educational information about ADHD with personal reflection exercises in order to empower individuals to implement strategies in their own life to improve wellbeing. Through an increased understanding of ADHD and identified areas of difficulty in one’s life, individuals will be encouraged to work towards realistic and attainable goals. In addition, these sessions will allow adults the opportunity to offer one another support and explore the strengths associated with having ADHD.

This year, we will be running two groups:

  • SPRING - April  7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
  • FALL - November 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
  • Each group runs over the course of four Thursday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm and will be facilitated by Springboard team members, Tara Boulden and Sandy Spence
    • Cost of $380 per person

Springboard Clinic reserves the right to cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient advance registration. In the event of a cancellation made by Springboard Clinic, a full refund will be given to the registrants; however, Springboard Clinic cannot accept responsibility for out-of-pocket expenses due to cancellation of a session. Client cancellations made by the registration deadline will be refunded, less a 25% administrative fee.
