At Springboard, we are doing everything we can to reduce risk to our clients and staff by adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Ontario Medical Association. We have been advised by our governing body to suspend all non-essential in-person services immediately, and to transition to remote appointments. With that in mind, all assessment and treatment appointments - including medical follow ups - will be moved to video or phone.

For this reason, and out of an abundance of caution, Springboard is temporarily closing our physical location at 1055 Yonge Street, and our staff will be working from home. If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled in the next few weeks, you can expect to hear from us soon to move your appointment to phone or video.

We have offered safe and confidential remote services for years, and are committed to doing so moving forward. We sincerely appreciate everyone's help and understanding as we work to keep our community safe.

Update: May 20, 2020

In light of Premier Ford's announcement regarding in-person counselling (psychotherapy and mental health supports) being included as part of Phase 1 openings, we wanted to provide an update regarding Springboard services.

At this stage, Springboard Clinic will continue to offer remote-only services. Over the next 4 weeks, we will be evaluating best practices and monitoring public health recommendations as we work to develop a phased re-opening of our in-person services. As always, our priority is the safety and wellbeing of both our team and our clients.

We miss seeing everyone in person, and look forward to welcoming you to the clinic in a safe and coordinated way when we feel it is responsible to do so.
